The Allen-Lambe House Museum and Study Center received on August 9, 2007, an important major addition to the museum library / archive collection from Donald Hoffmann. Donald, from 1965 – 1990, was the art and architecture critic for the Kansas City Star. He is the author of numerous books and publications and his insight into the work of Frank Lloyd Wright has produced 8 books on specific projects or understanding the principles of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Collection consists of his personal research library on Frank Lloyd Wright with annotations and contains 454 books, magazines, newsletters and pamphlets.

The “Donald Hoffmann Frank Lloyd Wright Collection” is an important addition to an evolving regional study center on Frank Lloyd Wright and interrelated art, architecture and decorative arts.
